How I Help You Find the Right Korean Supplier
Most sourcing services stop at “finding a factory.” KoreaLiaisonPM manages what happens after — which is where most international sourcing projects actually succeed or fail. From your first RFQ to the container leaving the port, I manage the entire process personally, drawing on 20 years of hands-on experience across automotive OEM supply chains (Hyundai-Kia, and a major European automotive alliance) and mining infrastructure projects in Kazakhstan and Australia, supplying operators like BHP and Rio Tinto.
Three-Step Verification Process
1. Financial Due Diligence
Verifying a supplier’s technical capability isn’t enough — their financial health matters just as much. I analyze a supplier’s financial statements, credit standing, and business stability before you commit, so you’re not just getting a capable factory, but a stable one.
This typically means reviewing the last two to three years of tax filings and financial statements, checking whether the company has any history of late payments or legal disputes with previous clients, and assessing whether their current order volume matches their stated production capacity.
2.Technical & Quality Verification
Drawing on 12 years in automotive OEM parts manufacturing (Hyundai-Kia, Renault-Nissan) and industrial equipment projects, I evaluate whether a supplier’s stated capabilities match reality — production processes, quality control systems, and certifications.
This includes reviewing their quality control checkpoints at each stage of production, checking whether their certifications are current and match the scope of work you need, and confirming they have experience with the specific tolerances and materials your project requires.
3. On-Site Factory Audit
I visit the factory in person to confirm what documents and calls cannot show: actual production capacity, working conditions, and equipment condition — giving you confidence before you sign.
I check the actual condition of the machinery being used, observe how the production floor is organized and managed day to day, and speak directly with the engineers and line workers — not just the sales team — to get an honest picture of what’s really happening on the ground.
